the student made store
the ask: the student made store is a platform for college students to sell their artwork alongside other likeminded creatives. for their launch, they asked for a logo that is recognizable, simple, and showcases their collective creative brand. the student made store has branches at over 12 campuses and is expanding frequently, thus, they wanted one main logo their headquarters and then secondary logos for their individual campus branches. it is important for both the headquarters and individual campuses to look cohesive.
the idea: something bold. something playful. the hand drawn typography brands the student made store in a timeless and unique way. the headquarters logo is displayed on a flat blue background while the individual campus logos are distinguished with a swirly background. each campus logo features their university logo and university name and can be easily adapted to additional universities.

king street farmers market
the ask: the king street farmers market desired an updated brand skit as they unified two separate markets into one. they also wanted to address misconceptions that the market is a food-only market. because their the mmarket takes place in boone, nc, located in the north carolina blue ridge mountains, thus, it was important for the logo to reflect this
the idea: flowers, veggies, and home-goods draw huge crowds to the weekly markets, thus, these products are displayed clearly to allure shoppers visually. the blue ridge mountains are home to traditional artisans with crafts passed down for generations, thus, the first iteration displays a hand-drawn center to encapsulate that in a more personal way.
